All Terrain Mobility Scooters

All terrain mobility scooters are ideal for users who live in more rural areas that may not benefit from smooth and flat roads and pavements. Taken to its extreme an all terrain mobility scooter can even be used on a farm or such area where regular outdoor and off road access is required. We have one customer, a local farmer, who regularly feeds the spring lambs from his all terrain mobility scooter!

So what makes a mobility scooter an all terrain mobility scooter?

The main feature is a higher ground clearance than a regular scooter and generally an all terrain mobility scooter is at the oppasite end of the scale from a transportable or ‘boot scooter’ that is designed to easily be put in the boot of a car. All terrain mobility scooters are not neccessarily great big and heavy scooters, they are generally light weight steardy all metal frames with a wider wheelbase for maximum stability and strong cast alloy wheels with all terrain tyres for extra off road grip.

All controls for scooters main functions are located at your finger tips, the controls can be either left or righthand mounted. There are powerful headlight and rear lights, highly visible indicators, hazard lights and an audible horn. The TGA Super Sport includes powerful sealed, maintenance free batteries, with the option to upgrade for an even greater range than the 30 miles provided by the standard model.

Available as optional extras are a wide and extra wide seat, a long chassis option and sun canopy and all weather canopies, available on all models.
